Museums and the Web is a collaborative space for people creating cultural heritage online. Since 1997, it has held an annual conference for museum professionals and issued a “Best of the Web” award for various exhibit categories.

The Museum Computer Network supports the museum community by providing opportunities to explore, implement, and disseminate new technologies and best practices in the field. It has held an annual conference since 1979 and has organized special interest groups, including one for small museums.
